EPOS, CCTV Installation, Service & Support Engineer


Central IT Support Limited is a dynamic and fast growing IT services company.

The company provides Point of sales and surveillance solutions to International Franchise chains and hospitality sector underpinned by excellent support and installation services.

The company provides intuitive solutions to owners of restaurants and retail outlets, to help them efficiently manage their business.


The Role:

As a member of our engineer team, you will be splitting your time between:

  • Installation of EPOS and CCTV systems in retail locations
  • Carrying out service calls for our retail and charity-sector customers
  • Training our customers on how to use their new EPOS system
  • In house production of EPOS, CCTV and related technology, including undertaking

Hardware Repairs:
You will have the opportunity to visit many parts of the UK, and you will be the face of Central IT Support to our customers.
The responsibilities and requirements of the role are:

  • Travel to customer premises both in and outside of normal hours
  • Conduct on site application training on our client's EPOS Products
  • Install and configure network infrastructure
  • To grow your knowledge of hardware, software and networking solutions, including gaining detailed knowledge of our products

Requirements:

  • You need to have a full driving licence
  • You will be flexible and enjoy regular travel (sometimes at short notice).
  • You will have excellent customer service skills

Experience And Knowledge:

The following experience and knowledge will be beneficial (but candidates without this may still apply):


  • Experience working as a shop fitter or similar role, or experience repairing and installing IT equipment.
  • Proven hands on problem solving ability
  • Knowledge of EPOS and CCTV systems

Working Hours:

Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri


Salary:

18K-22K Per annum dependent on experience and aptitude

  • Have strong knowledge in business needs and strong presence in operations
  • Ensure high level of customer trust and confidence is maintained
  • Lots of experience in a variety of PMS tools

Requirements:

  • You need to have a full driving licence
  • You will be flexible and enjoy regular travel (sometimes at short notice).
  • You will have excellent customer service skills

Experience And Knowledge:

The following experience and knowledge will be beneficial (but candidates without this may still apply):


  • Experience with managing commercial relationships with associates.
  • Technical knowledge for good leadership
  • Good attributes such as team working and coaching

Working Hours:

Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri


Salary:

28K+ Per annum dependent on experience and aptitude

Senior Software Developer

  • Maintaining existing software used to power POS Systems
  • Delivering products to clients hand on hand
  • Training non technical users on software usage


Requirements:

  • You need to have a full driving licence
  • You will be flexible and enjoy regular travel (sometimes at short notice).
  • You will have excellent customer service skills

Experience And Knowledge:

The following experience and knowledge will be beneficial (but candidates without this may still apply):


  • Technical knowledge on hardware and software topics of computing.
  • Friendly and patient attitude with customers
  • Knowledge on a variety of languages
